Launch suite
Each Rooiko product removes friction from a specific piece of real work. From the first card offload to the final project archive, the family is designed to keep media moving safely, visibly and with fewer places for human error to creep in.
Verified media offload.
CardFLOW moves footage from media cards to primary server storage and backup, using BLAKE3 verification to confirm that the copies are complete. When the dump and backup are both proven, CardFLOW writes an encrypted handshake file that CacheCLEAR can use for hardware sign-off.
CacheCLEAR is a dedicated hardware device for cache, sign-off and formatting of media cards. It only clears a card after CardFLOW has successfully dumped the footage, verified the backup and written the encrypted handshake file.
The result is a triple-check flow: offload complete, backup confirmed, hardware handshake accepted. CacheCLEAR then formats the card for reuse while keeping the process simple for crews by working with standard card readers.
File verification
Compare two folders at a glance across total size, file count and folder structure. When certainty matters, FileVER can run a BLAKE3 verified comparison so teams can prove that delivered data matches the source.
Proxy-first archive
Turn DaVinci Resolve proxy media into a practical archive layer. EasyARK helps preserve editability while reducing the pressure of keeping full-resolution originals online for every older project.
Proxy automation

Modern by default
CardFLOW, CacheCLEAR and FileVER use BLAKE3, a modern cryptographic hash designed to take advantage of parallel processing and today's CPUs. That gives verification a strong, modern foundation across offload, safe clearing and file comparison.
In practical terms, verification should support the workflow, not slow it down. BLAKE3 helps Rooiko keep integrity checks closer to the speed of modern storage and CPUs, so operators can keep moving while the system keeps checking.
The official BLAKE3 implementation describes its multithreaded command-line tool as roughly an order of magnitude faster than sha256sum on typical desktop hardware. Actual speed depends on the machine, storage and workload, but the principle is simple: verification should not be the bottleneck.

The team
Rooiko is a small team of developers based in Gqeberha, South Africa. Our systems were first developed around the demanding pace, file volumes and data risks of film production.
